Cancellation Policy

Cancellation before shipment:

Please inform us within 15-30 minutes of placing the order. If the order or the item(s) that you want to cancel have not been shipped yet, you can write to our customer support team at contact@vanitywagon.in or call us at +91 93191 06051. (9am - 6pm)

In such cases, the order will be cancelled, and the money will be refunded to you within 48 business hours after the cancellation request is duly processed by us.

 

Cancellation post shipment:

If you wish to cancel an order that has been shipped but has not yet been delivered, please get in touch with our Customer Support team on contact@vanitywagon.in.

  • In case you have cancelled an order, which has already been handed over to the courier company on our end, they may still attempt delivery. Kindly do not accept the delivery of the order.

  • Once we receive the product(s) back and verify its packaging/condition, we will refund your money within 24-48 business hours. Wear and tear charges, shipping charges or return expenses, may be applicable. 

 

How will I get refunded for the cancelled orders and how long will this process take?

In case of cancellation before shipment, we process the refund within 24-48 business hours after receiving the cancellation request.

In case of cancellation once the shipment has already been dispatched or if it is being returned, we process the refund once the products have been received and verified at our warehouse.

  • For payments done through credit/debit cards or net banking, the refund will be processed to the same account from which the payment was made within 24-48 business hours of us receiving the products back. It may take 2-3 additional business days for the amount to reflect in your account.

  • For cash on delivery transactions, we will initiate a refund through Vanity Wagon coupons, which can be used during future purchases. This process will be completed within 24-48 business hours of us receiving the products back. 

 

What if I used discount vouchers or loyalty points during time of payment and I have to cancel my order?

Discount vouchers are intended for one-time use only and shall be treated as used even if you cancel the order.
If you had redeemed loyalty points for an order, the same will be credited back to your account in the case of a cancellation.

Returns, Replacements, and Refunds

Can I return an item purchased on Vanity Wagon?

Please note that we do not accept returns once a product has been delivered unless it meets the following criteria:

  1. Damaged Product: If the product is damaged during shipment or transit.

  2. Expired Product: If the product received is past its expiration date.

  3. Wrong Product: If you receive a product different from what you ordered.

To initiate a return:

  1. Contact us: Email contact@vanitywagon.in within 24 hours of receiving the order with your order ID and details.

  2. Provide proof: Attach images of the product and invoice as a reference.

  3. Verification: Our team will verify the request and arrange a replacement or refund accordingly.

Important Notes:

  • The product must be unused, in its original packaging, and include all labels, seals, barcodes, and accessories.

  • Products purchased during sales, special promotions, or bundles cannot be returned/exchanged unless they are damaged, expired, or incorrect.

 


 

Items Not Eligible for Return:

  1. Products damaged due to misuse, overuse, or improper storage.

  2. Items returned without original packaging or missing components such as freebies or additional accessories.

  3. Used, altered, or tampered products.

  4. Free promotional products or gifts.

  5. Edible products and accessories.

 


 

Damaged, Defective, or Wrong Product:

If you receive a damaged/defective item or a wrong product, follow these steps:

  1. Contact: Email contact@vanitywagon.in within 24 hours of receiving the order.

  2. Provide Details: Share the order ID, details of the issue, and attach images of the product and invoice.

  3. Pickup: Once approved, our logistics team will arrange a pickup within the same day.

Note: If the replacement product is unavailable, we will issue a full refund.

 


 

Do I need to return the free gift if I return a product?

Yes, if you return a product, any free gifts received with it must also be returned.

 


 

Can I return part of my order?

Yes, partial returns are accepted. You can return individual items from a multi-item order. However, the product must be returned in full, including all components and any complimentary items received with it.

 


 

Refund Process

For Prepaid Orders:
Refunds for payments made via debit/credit card, UPI, or net banking will be processed within 24-48 business hours of receiving and verifying the returned product. It may take 2-3 additional business days for the refund to reflect in your account.

For Cash on Delivery (COD) Orders:
Refunds for COD payments will be issued via Vanity Wagon store credits, which can be used for future purchases. If requested, refunds can also be processed to your bank account after verification of your details.
